No, anyone who ever rode a bike can join Bike Tours Zagreb tours. Half way we will take a break to relax and recharge for the second part of the tour.

The difficulty of the tour is easy, so you should be able to cycle for around an hour and a half at a leisurely pace over flat terrain and feel comfortable riding a bike. During our tour, we have frequent stops every 5-10 minutes. You are here to enjoy yourself and not on a race, so we will adjust the pace to your needs.

Yes, the tours are on offer every day, no matter what the weather is like. Zagreb’s summer rains are usually light drizzles that end quickly.

You are! Although our guides try to get you through Zagreb in the safest way possible by using the best routes and bicycle-paths wherever possible, you are the one that is responsible for your own safety. You are therefore also responsible to check your bicycle before starting the tour to see if everything works and if you feel safe on it. All information can be found in our disclaimer. From the moment you join the tour you agree with everything written in the disclaimer.

No, sorry, for now, Bike Tours Zagreb doesn’t rent bikes. We have a small number of bikes, that we regularly use for our tours.

For our bike tours, we use 28-inch Holland-style city bikes. Bike Tours Zagreb bikes have 6 gears and are equipped with very comfortable seats and optionally baskets.

Yes, of course! At the moment it is only possible to pay via debt/credit cards. In Croatia, the official currency is EURO.

Clothing suitable for the weather enclosed footwear and especially for the sunny days we suggest sunscreen. You don’t need to bring water with you and money for a coffee break because those 2 things are included in the price.

We provide helmets free of charge and strongly recommend you wear one, but it is not obligatory. However, for kids 16 years old or younger it is obligatory.

If you want, we can run the tour no matter the weather situation. But it is your decision.  A day before the tour we usually have an idea of what weather should be on the tour day.

You can wear whatever you like, as long as you feel comfortable. For safety reasons we recommend closed toe shoes, but that’s up to you. Also dress according to the weather situation. It is handy to wear more layers that you can take off or put back on if needed.
